Captain Hiram's Wedding | Lisa + Pete

The most enjoyable and rewarding part of my job is getting to meet couples from all different backgrounds, parts of the world, and walks of life. Lisa and Pete traveled all the way from Minnesota, along with their closest friends and family to have their intimate wedding here in Florida. Sweet Lisa decided to marry the love of her life at Captain Hirams in Sebastian, Florida. She chose this location because of all the memories she had there growing up when visiting her grandparents.

They had a stunning outdoor ceremony under the gazebo located on the Indian River, followed by their reception held at Captain Hirams. There were so many special details throughout the day including the sentimental patch Lisa had sown onto the inside of her dress as a surprise to Pete, as well as the heartwarming speech given by the Father of the bride.

Aside from the first look between Lisa and Pete (because the first look is always my favorite moment on a wedding day), I would have to say my favorite moment was the first look between Lisa and her father. You could just see the love in his eyes as he saw his beautiful daughter in her wedding dress for the first time.

Needless to say, I had to hold back some tears behind my camera for several parts of the day.

Lisa and Pete, it was such a joy to be able to document your lovely wedding. It was evident to me from the short time I got to spend with you guys just how much you love one another and that you are so loved by your friends and family. I hope these wedding photos bless your marriage for years to come and help you remember all the sweet moments from your very special day. Thanks again!!!

Also, I want to give a big shoutout to the talented Marie from Marie Nicole Weddings for so seemlessly planning this beautiful wedding.
